We would like to introduce you to the wonderful world of Toastmasters, its speaking programs, leadership training, and the camaraderie that comes with growing and learning together.

Meeting Theme: "Famous Musicians of the 60's and 70's"
8/20/2010
- Rodrigo Flores, Sergeant at Arms, opened the meeting and introduced our guests, Esmeralda and Elise.
- Renota Shepherd led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
- Art Parker gave us the Thought of the Day, which came from Beatle, Paul McCartney..."All You Need is Love."
- Our Jokemaster was Rodrigo Flores.
- Our Toastmaster for the day was Michael Coleman, who did an great job of running the meeting, and won Best Performance of the meeting.
- Our Grammarian was Esther Lopez, who gave us the two Words of the Day - "Rock 'n Roll and Mandolin." She also kept track of how many times we used the words "um and ah."
- Table Topics Master,William Diaz, gave us some great questions, with Marcy Hernandez taking top honor as Best Table Topics Speaker, with her award presentation to "Elvis Presley."
- Jacquelyn Marin-Sharp was our Master Evaluator, and gave her overall evaluation of the meeting, and chose her evaluation team to give feedback to today's speakers.
- Jasmine Ibarra completed the 4th speech towards her Competent Communicator. Her speech was entitled, "Why I love the 80's." Jasmine took Best Speaker of the day.
- Forrest Woolman completed the 5th speech towards his Advanced Communicator Gold.
- Renota Shepherd evaluated Jasmine's speech, and took Best Evaluator of the day.
- Rodrigo Flores gave a helpful evaluation of Forrest's speech.
