Job Placement/Job Coaching Services

Providing pre-employment preparation, job placement assistance services utilizing an extensive employer network throughout the ILCSC service area.  Eligibility is required through referral from the Department of Rehabilitation.

JOB PLACEMENT PROGRAM - An expanded and focused program for clients who have been successful in the Training House Program.  Designed to engage the skills acquired at the Training House, the Job Placement Program assists clients in actively seeking and maintaining employment.

JOB COACHING - Utilized as needed for each client who obtains employment.  For the first 90 days of employment, the client is coached, depending on their particular needs.  After 90 days, follow-up coaching is provided only as needed.

JOB CLUB - Classes take place once a week where clients review weekly job search reports, job leads, and challenges in employment search.  Techniques on interviewing skills, workplace socialization skills, utilizing transportation options, and utilizing a variety of job search methods are explored.
